How it all started…
Welcome to the Fang Lures website! My name is Mark Ingle. I have fished all of my life from the time that I was a toddler. My favorite kind of fish to catch is Spotted Sea Trout and Reds. I fish for them all year long using various types of lures. My preference is fast action lures in the spring and summer. Slow action in the fall and winter. My new bait company, Fang Lures, will offer both fast and slow action lures as well as a subsurface lure.
The inventory of Killers is building each day as I design and test new colors. There are three types of actions in the Killer lineup – Subsurface, Slow Sinking, and Fast Sinking. The Development Process
The development of the lure started with molds designed in Fusion 360 and 3D Printed in high temperature filament. The process was not perfect but allowed for several iterations of designs to create the perfect lure for casting and unique action that Sea Trout and Redfish love.
We have grown into using aluminum molds made in the United States using plastisol and colors from Lure Works. Every lure is tested by Mark Ingle on his fishing trips to the NC and SC coast to make sure the design support his standards for action and appearance in the various waters along the east coast.
Pulling the trigger…
In 2025 I decided to sell the Killer from Fang Lures so that others could enjoy the “thump” from a Sea Trout and the pounding from a Redfish . Within several months 260 lures were sold along the east coast! Customers were happy with the quick turnaround on their orders and successfully fishing trips.

The Killer Lure
Nothing but quality material is used to build the Killer. Laser sharp Gamakatsu #4 hooks are used to make sure you connect on the strike no matter what the bite like. Large glass rattlers provide the noise that drive Sea Trout and Reds crazy and trigger their primal instinct to kill prey swimming by. Our business plan is to listen to our customers and provide a simple effect way to communicate through web based technologies so that we produce the lures needed to catch Seatrout and Reds.
